We are a health service that strives to continually improve the responsiveness and quality of care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We aim to actively develop people’s knowledge, skills and confidence, and to ensure their rights within our community. These skills can then equip people to develop their health: for themselves, their families, kinships and community.
Our vision is to create healthy, happy communities built on a foundation of positive relationships and a drive for cultural and economic opportunities for the Aboriginal community, and wider community as a whole.
We employ a unique model of primary health care services. This includes services such as health assessments, including pathology and specimen collection; acute and chronic disease management; access to general practitioner consultations; immunisation for all ages; and referrals to specialists and allied health services.
As an organisation, AMC360 values the right of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to access medical services in a culturally safe and respectful environment. We acknowledge the importance of kinship and collaboration. In order to deliver successful healthcare AMC360 understand that trust and integrity are of utmost importance. AMC360 values accessibility, responsiveness, and innovation in all we do. We prioritise data security and the protection of patients’ private information.
